Helen Fisher is an anthropologist who's specialty is 'romantic love', and what happens in our brain!

Interesting she says 'elevated dopamine' and not elevated 'oxytocin'. That's because she's talking about addictive love. ah! The same as the rush of cocaine...whoa! It comes via the motivation cycle, and so it is driven by dopamine.

But what can we do to be driven by oxytocin instead? Well, oxytocin IS the chemical of attachment. This is interesting because she profiles the 3 brain chemicals and what they do to us in terms of LUST-ATTACHMENT-and...oh you'll just have to watch it. The end is good.

This is in 4 segments, skip to the 3rd on aging-middle age should be increased to 85 because we don't have alot wrong with us until then. THAT'S good news. So - there's an imbedded command that we only get old when we are ill...my mother would agree!

11 leads us into mastery and transformation

Anyone that's into numerology knows that 11s are power numbers. Master numbers and you don't mess with master numbers. You don't reduce them. You keep them as they are. 11s are initiations, and we pass through them on our earth incarnations.

11 = mastering duality. There's a big difference energetically between an 11 and a 2. 2 is about duality, it's about balance and imbalance. It's a straight line-2 points. 11 is sophisticated. It takes the lessons of 2 and demonstrates mastery. It is about birthing and anchoring in the new. This is an eleven year. (2009 = 2+9 = 11) "Jesus' adds up to 11, as does "wisdom', and 'support'. 'Mother' and 'Father' together make 11. The word 'light' is an 11 too.

22 = mastering building new. 22 is a master teacher number, and master manifesting. 22 carries psychic gifts such as heightened sensitivity and intuition. It represents practical idealism, practical genius, it represents future creation, power on all levels, philanthropy, universality, international direction, service to mankind. 2 initiates, and 22 is synergy, self competance, maturity and illumination. "Light Linxx" adds up to 22, as does 'angels'.

33 = mastering universal service through the quickening of our ONE BEING. 3 is about dimension and planning. 33 represents Christ Consciousness, the ultimate plan. Universal nurturing, social consciousness raised to the global level, master teacher and healer. 33 is the flower of life, creation. 'Teacher' is 33, and so is 'believe'. "Light Jaguar" is a 33!

44 = mastering the balance between spiritual and physical, the reconfiguring of our evolutionary path.4 is about solid foundations to build, and physical manifestation, 44 is about the universal mandate "As above, so below". It represents the creation of the foundation of our new lives. Obama is our 44th president.

55 = mastering personal freedom by being free of the past and totally real. It's about new beginnings (1) but not about redoing the old-rather, being completely free of the old. 5 is about time, adaptation and change, while 55 is about freedom from the constraints of the old.

66 = mastering responsibility in a joyful creative manner. 6 is about harmony and order, 66 is about the reordering into new patterns of joy.

77 = mastering revelations. Honing ourselves to the core. 7 has to do with expression and experimentation, and 77 is about the conversion of that expression into prophetic wisdom.

88 = mastering of abundance and wholeness. 8s are manifesting and the expression of power. 88 has to do with the expression of abundance with world wide consciousness

99 = mastering and completion on an evolutionary level. It's quantum leap time! 9 is about integration of all we know, and 99 is achievement of eons of wisdom brought to manifest now.

Tonight I did something I never do. I turned on 'Nightline'. They are profiling UNICEF. There is Salma Halek with a UNICEF Tshirt and she is in Africa. There is a tiny infant that dies and they say that it is an excruciating disease, and it is completely preventable. Had the mother gotten a tetanus vaccine while pregnant, the baby would have lived.

Every 3 min a child dies of tetanus...a completely curable disease. The vaccine to prevent that death costs 7 cents. Wow. I think of all the pennies in jars around my house, and how that can save the lives of how many babies???

Proctor and Gamble has vowed to distribute 200 million vaccines. They have teamed with UNICEF to make sure it gets where it needs to go.

I like to collect strange bits of stuff. Sort of a junkie for trivia, and tidbits that make me raise an eyebrow.

Like, I knew that butterflies taste with their feet. I don't know how I knew that, but I did.

But I didn't know that more than 100 people choke TO DEATH on ballpoint pens a year. There's a lot of pen chewers and pen suckers out there! Who would have thought that! AND that's only the ones that DIE! There have got to be at least that many people that don't tell anyone they were dumb enough to inhale a ball point pen, ya think? NOT if they live they aren't. And you can bet that's a sure fire habit cure. GULP!

Have you ever noticed that the cabbies you see in New York City movies ALWAYS seem to have an accent? Yep. That's no movie lie. 90% of the cabbies in NY ARE recently arrived immigrants. Must be a movie truism.

Did you know too that snails are not ONLY slow, but they can sleep for 3 years?! That's a long slow nap! How long does a snail live anyway? The ones that don't get smashed that is. I want to know!

Then there are the ones that make you go "huh?" I want to know, for instance, who figured out that ALL polar bears are left handed? I mean really. That has to be a statistical thing, right? And a crocodile can't stick it's tongue out. WHO on God's green earth cares about this? AND who has the job of finding out? Does it matter that MR Croc can't stick out his tongue? He has no need to as far as I can see-his big ol teeth are plenty nuf.

SMELLING bananas can help you lose weight. Really? Maybe they mean smelling instead of eating? So, bananas also have a chemical in them that makes you happy. It's the same chemical that's in prozac. PROZAC??? Really? Honest.

So here's one that is right up there with the ballpoint pens...more people are killed by coconuts than by sharks. I wonder how many sharks are killed by coconuts, you know?

Ok ok but I bet you didn't know THIS! It is ILLEGAL to sell or OWN chewing gum in Singapore. WOW! That's a tough place. The travel agents better know that one. I wonder if it's illegal to chew it? You could say you had borrowed it-from a friend. It's not yours.

AND since the United Nations was founded, in 1945, there have been no less than 140 wars. Wonder how many there would have been had we not been so united, huh?

And the Internet behemoth will pay $10 million for your pitch.

Google's initiative is called Project 10^100 (that's "10 to the 100th"). Google wants input from the public and its own panel of judges to help choose the five best ideas, which will be unveiled in February 2009.

From Google's press release: "These ideas can be big or small, technology-driven or brilliantly simple - but they need to have impact. We know there are countless brilliant ideas that need funding and support to come to fruition."

Canadian team discovers gene that turns cancers off
VANCOUVER

A unique gene that can stop cancerous cells from multiplying into tumours has been discovered by a team of scientists at the B.C. Cancer Agency in Vancouver.

The team, led by Dr. Poul Sorensen, says the gene has the power to suppress the growth of human tumours in multiple cancers, including breast, lung and liver.

The gene, HACE 1, helps cells fight off stress that, left unchecked, opens the door to formation of multiple tumours.

Dr. Sorensen's team found cancerous cells form tumours when HACE 1 is inactive, but when additional stress such as radiation is added, tumour growth is rampant.

Kick-starting HACE 1 prevented those cells from forming tumours.

The study appears in the advance online publication of Nature Medicine.

Marijuana May Fight Lung Tumors
Cannabis Compound Slows Cancer Spread in Mice, Researchers Say

April 17, 2007 (Los Angeles) -- Cannabis may be bad for the lungs, but the active ingredient in marijuana may help combat lung cancer, new research suggests.
In lab and mouse studies, the compound, known as THC, cut lung tumor growth in half and helped prevent the cancer from spreading, says Anju Preet, PhD, a Harvard University researcher in Boston who tested the chemical.
While a lot more work needs to be done, “the results suggest THC has therapeutic potential,” she tells WebMD.
Moreover, other early research suggests the cannabis compound could help fight brain, prostate, and skin cancers as well, Preet says.
The findings were presented at the annual meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research.
The finding builds on the recent discovery of the body’s own cannabinoid system, Preet says. Known as endocannabinoids, the natural cannabinoids stimulate appetite and control pain and inflammation.
THC seeks out, attaches to, and activates two specific endocannabinoids that are present in high amounts on lung cancer cells, Preet says. This revs up their natural anti-inflammatory properties. Inflammation can promote the growth and spread of cancer.
In the new study, the researchers first demonstrated that THC inhibited the growth and spread of cells from two different lung cancer cell lines and from patient lung tumors. Then, they injected THC into mice that had been implanted with human lung cancer cells. After three weeks, tumors shrank by about 50%, compared with tumors in untreated mice.
Preet notes that animals injected with THC seem to get “high,” showing signs of clumsiness and getting the munchies. “You would expect to see the same thing in humans, so if this work does pan out, getting the dose right is going to be all important,” she says.
Paul B. Fisher, PhD, a professor of clinical pathology at Columbia University, says that though the work is “interesting,” it’s still very early.
“The issue with using a drug of this type becomes the window of concentration that will be effective. Can you physiologically achieve what you want without causing unwanted effects?” he tells WebMD.
